Diversifying
We understand that owning and farming land can present many uncertainties especially in these challenging times. Diversifying the activities on your land can be a good way of safeguarding your prosperity and we believe an energy project is a great way of doing this. Working with Spring will mean that we will develop a solar farm entirely at our cost and risk and once successfully developed, we will pay you a secure rental income to you, rising with inflation, for up to 40 years.
The land we lease from you can still be used for agriculture too. You can continue to graze sheep helping to maximise productivity and income.

At the end of the solar farm’s life we will remove all the equipment and return your land to the way we found it.
Is your land suitable?
We are keen to find sites of 50 acres and above, where the land is relatively flat, the agricultural grading is medium to poor (grades 3 and greater), is not in a valued landscape or near historic buildings and is well screened by hedges and a good distance from residential property.
